Park Guidelines

The City has twenty multi-purpose parks which provide a variety of recreational resources, include varying combinations of ball fields, basketball courts, swimming pools, passive areas, playgrounds, and areas for active play. 

Our Parks are categorized as Neighborhood Parks, Community Parks and/or Specialty Parks:  

Neighborhood Parks provide the foundation for recreation locally and provide residents the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors close to home.  Our Neighborhood Parks are: Battle Hill Park, Battle of White Plains Park, Chatterton Park, Druss Park, Mattison Park, Mitchell Place Tot Lot and Turnure Park.

Community Parks are larger parks that serve the greater population and provide a variety of amenities.  Our Community Parks are Delfino Park, Gardella Park, Gillie Park and Kittrell Park.

Specialty Parks are designed to accommodate specific activities.  They provide unique recreational Opportunities.  Our Specialty Parks are: Baldwin Farm, Bark Dog Park, Bryant-Mamaroneck Park, Jack Harrington Greenway, Jacob Purdy Park, Liberty Park, Renaissance Park , Ridgeway Nature Trail, and Tibbits Park.

The Care of Trees is a local, employee owned, full service tree and 
shrub care company. We pride ourselves on providing excellent client 
experiences, that focus on our clients needs to maintain all parts of their 
landscapes. The Care of Trees guarantees our work or we don't expect payment until you are 100 percent satisfied with our service


.  Parks are open daily from dawn to dusk, unless specified

.  No Dogs are permitted except in Bark Park

.  No smoking or alcoholic beverage are permitted

.  Parents must supervise children at all times

.  No littering or loitering

.  A facility permit is required for use of all City owned fields
